hi~ man, I love both of the styles D:
The chibi drawing is so crip *. * love the colors and of course how adorable they are x)
And I don't think I need to mention how awesome the Ohno one is :D out of curiosity which tool are you using in SAI? I played with all of them but I still have to find one I'm comfortable with >.< *working an Ohno drawing in SAI too*

The tools I use in SAI are 'pen' and 'brush'... then 'water' if I want to blend colors and make it less rough looking (the second one) usually I take the pen then make squiggles of really bright colors then dilute the squiggles with water it makes it all painting-ish :D

Ah, I see~ thanks for the reply :D
Mostly I use brush, and then, like you, water. I wish the ink pen would be wider and.. I have to fidget with the options from each to get what I want, I still feel insecure with it. I'd like to get an effect closer to the brush in OC.
But I love watercolor a lot for light drawings ^^-
